All of our previous stock was lost in last years hard winter .I bought the new flamboyants as tiny corms and have grown them on - they now need to have their final feed (given today) before prep begins to overwinter them.
The allotment still flourishes - raspberries have done well - they are autumn fruiting - we shall plant some summer fruiting canes shortly for next year - apples have produced well - and the green beans go on for ever - pots have been harvested - and onions and garlic are drying out in the greenhouse
The borders in the garden need a good tidy and so do the greenhouses - ah well I have logged it down - so now best foot forward - until the next time - Jane
